Horse Camps and Bridle Trails


Blue Rock State Forest Bridle Trail
Approximately 26 miles of trail, horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Brush Creek State Forest Bridle Trail
Approximately 15 miles of trail, horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Dean State Forest Bridle Trails
Approximately 20 miles of trail, horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Harrison State Forest Bridle Trails And Horse Camps
Approximately 18 miles of trail. Horse Camp has 27 sites available on a first come first serve basis. Drinking water is not always available; riders should bring additional water. Horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Hocking State Forest Bridle Trails And Horse Camps
Approximately 40 miles of trails. Horse Camp has 23 sites available on a first come first served basis. Drinking water is not always available; riders should bring additional water. Horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Maumee State Forest Bridle Trails
Approximately 7 miles of trail, horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Mohican-memorial State Forest Bridle Trails
Approximately 22 miles of trail, horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Perry State Forest Bridle Trails
Approximately 8 miles of trail, horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Pike State Forest Bridle Trails
Approximately 38 miles of trail, horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Scioto Trail State Forest Bridle Trails
Approximately 21 miles of trail, horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Shawnee State Forest Bridle Trails And Bear Lake Horse Camp
Approximately 60 miles of trail.  Horse Camp has 58 sites available on a first come first serve basis. Drinking water is not available. Horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Tar Hollow State Forest Bridle Trails
Approximately 26 miles of trail. Horse Camp has 46 sites available on a first come first serve basis. Drinking water is not always available; riders should bring additional water. Horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.

Zaleski State Forest Bridle Trails
Approximately 50 miles of trail. Horse Camp has 16 sites available on a first come first serve basis. Drinking water is not always available; riders should bring additional water. Horses may be ridden only along forest roads or on designated bridle trails.
