Wildflower Hike at Eagle Creek State Nature Preserve

Discover the beauty of a northeastern Ohio woods in spring by joining a free wildflower hike on Saturday, May 4 from 10 am to noon at Eagle Creek State Nature Preserve in Portage County.
Saturday’s hike will focus on native wildflowers, such as large flowered trillium, which is the state wildflower, bloodroot, marsh marigold and a host of other colorful wildflowers.
Spanning 481 acres, Eagle Creek is a mixture of upland and floodplain woodlands, including several small wetlands. More than 70 species of wildflowers can be discovered along its six-mile trail system.
