Instructions for Submitting Abstracts
DEADLINE
Deadline for abstract submission EXTENDED to December 17, 2010

CONTENT
Abstracts should include:

1.        Problem studied or hypothesis tested - state why you conducted your study and the importance of your research

2.        Results - focus on the most important results of your study, while briefly explaining the methods used in data collection

3.        Implications - explain how the results of this study will advance the understanding of fish and wildlife conservation/management

FORMAT

1.        Please indicate if you are submitting a  poster. 
2.        Abstracts should be <300 words in length, excluding title (<15 words in length) and author information.

3.        Include the name, affiliation, email, and mailing address of each author. An asterisk should follow the presenting author’s name.

4.        Use hard returns between the title, author information, and the abstract text.

5.        Italicize scientific names.

6.        Please use single spacing, Times New Roman font, size 12 font, and save it in a 2002 version of Microsoft Word (Office XP).

SUBMISSION

1.        Abstract submission via email is preferred.  Send abstract as an attachment in Microsoft Word to brett.beatty@dnr.state.oh.us

2.        Abstracts may also be submitted on a CD in the above format.

3.        The Conference Program Committee reserves the right to edit abstracts for grammar and typesetting.
